The Skybridge
at Pioneer Square

About

The room Pioneer Square has been waiting for.

I'm Henrik Voss, Director of Events. The Skybridge at Pioneer Square opened in 2021 in a Romanesque Revival building from 1893. We spent three years on the restoration — the brick arches and coffered ceilings are original; the 33×60-foot 4K LED wall is not.

The LED wall

The Sky Atrium's defining feature is a full-wall 4K LED installation — 33 feet tall by 60 feet wide. It runs custom content, live feeds, or static ambient imagery. For a gala dinner, it creates an atmosphere unlike anything else in Seattle. For a conference, it anchors the stage with a presence that projectors can't match.

Catering

We work with a preferred caterer list rather than an in-house team or a fully open policy. Our four caterers — Pike Place Provisions, Salish Spread, Ravishing Radish Catering, and Kaspars Catering & Events — have been vetted for both food quality and kitchen-flow compatibility with our prep area. If you have a relationship with one of them already, great. If not, we're happy to facilitate introductions.

Bringing an outside caterer not on our list requires a compatibility walkthrough and advance approval — please raise this early in the planning process.

The team

Henrik (Director of Events), Petra (Event Coordination), and a venue operations crew of 6–10. We handle the facility, the AV coordination, and the load-in logistics. Your caterer handles food service.
